秦风 1961年生于中国新疆。1985年毕业于山东工艺美术学院。1996-1999年受德国柏林市政府邀请任艺术大使， 曾任教于柏林艺术大学。1999年至今生活在波士顿。2007年被聘为中央美院研究生导师。策划并主办中国前卫绘画大展（香港文化中心）及十多次国际性大展。多次获得创作奖，作品被纽约大都会、古根汉姆、丹麦博物馆等收藏。^_^Born in Xinjiang， China. In 1985， graduated from the Shandong Art Institute，Shandong. From 1985 to 1990， employed at publishing houses，research institutes and universities. In 1996，moved to Berlin，Germany Taught at Berlin University of Art，HDK. In 1997，invited by the City of Berlin to serve as the Curator for Sino-German Cultural Exchange. In 1999，moved to the United States. In 2007， began teaching and serving as graduate advisor at the Central Academy of Fine Art in Beijing.
